Welcome to Lead With Confidence. This lesson is about the single hardest transition in your career: moving from being one of the team to leading the team. You will work through what actually changes, what stays, and how to start leading the people who used to be your peers.
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:
1. Name the three biggest differences between being a peer and being a manager, and write out what each one means for one specific relationship on your team.
2. Complete a start/stop/continue audit of your own behavior and identify at least three habits you will change in your first 30 days as a manager.
3. Write a one-paragraph definition of your new role and deliver it to your team so they know how you will lead.
